He is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Geneva Bennight.
He is survived by the love of his life Kay McKenzie; his sister Peggy Palmore; three children; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Glenn played football for Travis High School where he graduated in 1960. He was the former owner of Anthony's Laundry and Dry Cleaners and at the time of his retirement he was partners with Darrell Dillon and Buddy Bradcher in the car dealership business.
Glenn's passion for his beloved Longhorns and his family will be remembered by all.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Friday, February 26, 2010 at Harrell Funeral Home, Austin, TX. Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 27, 2010.
