- Tommy Boyd, of Creedmore, TX passed away on Monday, January 18, 2010.
Tommy loved working cows, cooking BBQ and in his younger days, bull riding. His seasonal job was being Santa for his nieces and nephews. He worked with his father as a locksmith at Del Valle School District.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Idella Boyd and brother, Ronny Boyd.
Survivors are his wife, June Pelat; son, Michael Thomas Boyd & wife Jessica, son, Colby Glenn Boyd; daughter, Emily Annette Boyd; father, John Boyd & wife Paula; sister, Carolyn Ellis & husband Glenn; sister, Barbara Gattis & husband Marvin; step-children, Curtis Cathey and Lisa Cathey Edwards; 5 step-grandchildren; many nieces & nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Harrell Funeral Home, Austin, TX.
Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Harrell Funeral Home, Austin, TX. Burial will follow at Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
